Still clean and sober?
Does the need to confirm someone is till clean and sober ever end or will this thought always be with me? The stories of relapse scare me and make me wonder how my qualifier could still be clean when so many continue to struggle.

That's a great question - basically, when can you trust again. And if you can't trust your qualifier (partner?), are you happy and confident in yourself and the relationship?
IRT relapse, I guess I think of addiction like diabetes. Diabetes can be treated and people can live a happy, healthy life with it. But then too, it can spin out of control and cause all sorts of damage.
So if your qualifier is working a program, your doing your work to care for you, everything is smooth sailing, can you trust it is what it is?
