Horrible news..

AH's brother died today. He was also addicted to drugs. He was detoxing in the hospital and then was supposed to leave for treatment for a year in Albany, NY. They found him with no pulse around 11:30 this morning.
I'm wondering if it was the medications they had him on. They had him on methadone, clonopin and last night they have him Ativan. This morning he took his meds, skipped group and slept. He was heard snoring around 9:30 or so. He was found at 11:30.

He is at peace now, with no chains of addiction to bind him. My prayers go out for his friends and family left behind to grieve.
