My recent story of "Letting Go and Let God"
Shortly before Christmas my AS lost his job. Lost his place to stay last week, and was homeless. Last sunday asked to stay with us, But as we told him before No. {He is 31 and has been hooked on prescription drugs witch he bought on the streets. After being clean for 2 years prior.} We will not help someone who is an active Addict in any way except providing a meal when they visit.
Well seems he parked and slept in his truck at the wrong place. When the police checked him out found a warrant for missing a court date. Thus went to jail.
When he went in, there was a man talking to some of the people there. After a bit this man cam to talk with my AS. He was from Freedom-seekers a christian organization that help addicts in recovery. Exactly what he needed. They give them a place to stay, feed them and give them work (they have some small companies) to help pay for it. They must go through counseling and group therapy daily. The help them find a full time job. and even provide transportation.
We let go and let God handle it. It seems that He is doing just what my AS needs, and just at the right time. We pray he will take advantage of the help offered. We will even send some donation to the group to help them with there good work, They are a new just started up last year and much needed in this area.
Just sharing our blessings,

I don't know why but this brought tears to my eyes. I have such a hard time letting go and letting God. I struggle almost daily with it, not only with AH but with other aspects in life too.
I'm so glad that your son was right where he needed to be, right when he needed to be there.

How awesome ~
It is so difficult to tell our adult children NO but sometimes in doing so we open the door for such greater opportunities for HEALING for them ~
prayers for continued healing for them!
