My niece is gone....

Chelsea D., my niece (who grew up with my daughter) died last night of a heroin overdose.
I have no specifics on what happened, but sadly she has been heading down this road for some time.
I am in shock I think. I don't know. 19 years old.
DAMMIT!!!!!

Oh Beth, I am so sorry. I hate this. It just is not fair, that our young ones can be taken before they even realize that they could die doing this. I am just so sorry honey. I hope somehow your family finds peace. I pray that for you, and your family. God rest your little niece.

It is awful to loose someone to such a terrible disease..addiction is not pretty. Im sorry that shes gone...

I am new to this site so I don't know any of you yet. But this tore right into my heart. What a terribly tragic end to such a young life! I am sorry for your family's loss. I pray my daughter does not end up as one of these statistics too!
