My 21 yr old AS is in month 3 of his latest relapse. He's lost his job and is back to couch-surfing. Hopefully not back to dealing, but I wouldn't doubt it. Not quite sure which drugs he's using, doesn't matter I guess.
I don't see him often and when I do it's awkward because of the addict elephant in the room. It's near impossible to "small talk" and not offer unsolicited advice while ignoring the issue. I miss my boy.
I play with my band a lot. It's been a great hobby for many years and a great source of stability for me. We're getting out of town gigs now so that's always a good time with the boys.
I've been working hard on my codie issues in other aspects of my life as well. I'm making progress although I'm sure not everyone would agree.
