You did the right thing. He's an addict doing what addicts do - which is blame others for their problems.

Are you taking care of yourself and protecting your children if you have any? Do you feel safe?

Cause he's an addict and addicts and the law don't get along too well so he's mad at you for calling them. He's just being an addict and trying to manipulate you by making you feel guilty so he can keep using. Don't buy into his crap, do what YOU need to do to stay safe and keep your peace of mind. You did the right thing and stuck to your boundaries.

Keep doing what you say you'll do. It's the only way an addict gets it. Say what you mean, mean what you say but don't say it mean.

He has no one other than you to blame, heaven knows he cannot take the blame just because he's using. It's what addicts do, project the blame and guilt on the other person. It's an addict defense mechanism.

Don't buy it, you're ALL right, he's ALL wrong.
