Lightbulb Let Go

I found this little poem on Positive Thoughts and thought of all of us immediately. I knew I had to share it.
I hope it touches you as it did me... :>)

Let Go

To 'let go' does not mean to stop caring;
it means I can't do it for someone else.

To 'let go' is not to cut myself off;
it is the realization that
I must not control another.

To 'let go' is not to fix;
but to be supportive.

To 'let go' is not to be in the middle
arranging all the outcomes;
but to allow others to effect their destinies. :codiepolice

To 'let go' is not to be protective;
it is to permit another to face reality.

To 'let go' is not to regret the past;
but to grow and live for the future.

To 'let go' is to fear less
and love more.

Shalom!

How very long it took me to stop trying to fix the world. And even longer to realize that each one of us needs to travel our own journey and learn our own lessons along the way.

Thank you, Teach, I needed to read this today.

Big Hugs and Lotsa Love

(((phoebe)))

I'm glad it helped...
I know the journey you are traveling,
We've all been there too,
And we're here beside you now.

Ours is not an easy road to walk,
But, you will come out stronger,
wiser, and with more love
than you thought possible.
I promise.

Shalom!

Ann and Greet,

You both picked out my two favorite lines in the poem.
Go figure!
Great minds think alike, hehehe!

Shalom!
