Al-Anon vs. Coda meetings
Just attended my first Al-Anon meeting. I have been going to Codependents Anonymous meetings as well.
Was just wondering about others' perceptions of these two recovery problems. Does work work better fro you than the other?
I am trying to decide which to stick with.

really they have co-dependent meetings....? must look into that....well, I have alcoholic family members..all in recovery but still...I need it...maybe that is the difference??...
I don't have PERSONAL experience with these two groups, but the Steps are the Steps. All 12-step based groups are going to have a similar jist, except I would FOR SURE advise you to go to and "anon" one (meaning, not one for addicts, but one for someone who loves addicts). I think the most important element, is if you gel with that particular group. Where you will find a sponsor, and with which group you feel most comfortable, is key. JMHO
