First Post and a big Thanks to everyone!

Hi, my name is Diana and I have been reading here for quite a while and wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone here for sharing! I have learned so much from all of you!

My 21 year old daughter ( only child) is a heroin addict. My journey began in December 2006 and although my daughter is still using, I am in a much better place thanks to SR, Al-Anon and Nar-Anon.

I look forward to getting to know many of you here and share my experience, strength and hope.

Welcome to SR!! I'm glad you've joined us! I lurked around here for over a year, myself, before joining in

It's the best thing I've ever done!

It sounds like you have are making some great steps in your recovery, but a little extra support never hurts, and you'll find a lot of it here.

Another mom here.
Be patient, have hope and keep working your own recovery.

My 25 yr old son has been in recovery 2 yrs.
We have the most amazing relationship which is better than ever !
This did not happen just bec. he kept trying treatment (3 times)
but bec. I've been going to al-anon for yrs. and I kept trying to be my best self.

Please keep sharing here.
