My brother is going to be held until his court date in September and is making a deal to go to inpatient rehab instead of prison.

Wow!! Guess that lawyer who said he would walk didn't know what SR prayers could do, huh?
I'm so glad your brother will be in a safe place for a while. I hope this gives you and your mom some peace.

thank God my brother is being moved from the jail to an impatient facility next week.
He was clean for many years operating a homeless shelter for his church. He was in a serious accident where he broke both of his femurs, both fibulae and 3 vertebrae and suffered internal damage as well. I think getting on pain medicine is what started his relapse process. He really is too sick to be in a county jail. The last time he was in jail he got mercer and had to have emergency surgery on his hand because the jailers were not giving him his medicine. It was really bad.

This is wonderful news, Splendra, and it sounds like his HP is leading him back to a good path.
A good Codie prayer and lots of blind faith has seen me through more than one scary night. I hope you and your family can find some peace now that your brother will be heading to rehab.
