I am often surprised that when I ask for prayers that things get so much better. You are in mine tonight. I will pray for Crystal and for everyone that is going through this painful path of watching a loved one battle with the consequences of addiction.

Thanks so much! Still don't know what he is up to one minute he is leaving threatening voice mails then the next he is begging her to meet him an talk. It's crazy ! This what drugs do yet they still go back I will never understand why. Thanks again for the prayers an good thoughts.
Hello Lost Parent
I'm sending prayers your way and hope that things will start to calm down.
One sure way for them to calm down is to stop listening to those calls. The xabf sounds like he is using. Although I feel sorry for him, I feel more sorry for you, your daughter and the child.
I hope she doesn't meet him to "talk!" The reason I say that is because of the way he is talking...crazy!
I'm not without experience in this either, as my son threatened to kill himself many times!
I just pray that she stays clear of him at this time.
Hugs & big prayers

He called me today was very polite as he gave all kinds of excuses for using of course he said it was the first time he had done so since getting out of jail. Who knows there are so many lies when drugs are involved. He also call my daughter an left another mean message right after talking to me. He of course had to make accusations about her to me. Told him I don't want the drama just want to make sure the baby is safe an until I see where this is leading it is supervised visits.
Thanks so much for the prayers I feel so much calmer today

One thing I have learned over these 35+ years of dealing with an addict, and that is....one minute everything is in a chaotic state and we get all worked up and nervous, our blood pressure goes sky high, we worry, cry, don't know what to do or who to turn to, and then you get the call saying "what? you were worried about what?"
I'm happy that you feel better and things are calm for the moment. Just remember things happen as they are suppose to happen. There isn't one thing we can do to control these situations. The only thing we have control over is ourself.
Prayers & Hugs,

She goes to court in the morning still trying to get an old charge clear up. I'm praying things go well she has really been trying to get her life straightened up. The ex has left her alone today so maybe he gave up.
Thanks again for the prayers an hugs.
