"When will it ever end?"
(((Chino)))
I thought of your daughter the other day. I was having a rough day, everything seemed to be going wrong, and I remembered....heck, I've survived a crack addiction and being a homeless prostitute....no matter WHAT comes up today, it's pretty minor, compaired to that!
Whether she sees her strength now, or later, she will be amazed at how awesome she's been.
Another thing is, whenever mom or I were stressed, we took it out on each other. Years ago, a cousin, who was more like a grandparent to me, died. We were getting read to go to the funeral and mom and I were arguing, snapping and just being nasty to each other. We both stopped and said "what the he!! are we doing", laughed, hugged each other and apologized. Even dad and I do it, now.
We take out our frustrations on those we are "safe" with...who will love us, no matter what. It doesn't FEEL like a compliment at the time, but it is....it's the ultimate trust.
I'm glad she got to drive and went to a meeting. Both your recoveries are a beauty to watch.
Hugs and prayers!
