I am a diabetic and know sometimes that a person on insulin can go to an urgent clinic and they will help him, or maybe he took his rx with him?
I know your worried and I hope he will take care of that knowing he has too. Prayers for you...and him.

There's still no news. The kid who who we think is with him has stopped all communication with my son's friends. No one has spoken or texted directly with my son. Just waiting now for the juvenille court to open so they can get a warrant to go over to the kid's house.
We found him
He was at the friends house that we suspected. I got his mom's number this morning and called her. At first she denied that she knew where he was but after I broke down crying she told me he was there. I got off the phone and called 911 to send a car. Then she called me back with him on speaker phone while they tried to convince me not to call the police and told me he was about to run. She asked me to come over there and just sit down and talk to him - I just kept them on the phone as long as I could knowing the police were on there way - never giving any indication to them that i had already called the police.
This woman knew my son's entire case becuase her son has been in drug court with him for the last year. She knew he was diabetic, that he was in court ordered rehab, that I would be desperate to know he was okay and she lied about it. I am taking out charges for her because i have heard that this is not the first time she has harborded a run away wanted by the law.
As for me, i'm done at this point. I'm not fighting for him anymore. This is now his battle to fight alone. I will go to his court date, I will sign whatever papers I have to but I will not visit or write. The pain that he has caused to his family and friends was so great and we all need time away from him for quite some time.

I so sorry Whinnie or the heartbreak you have suffered from the hand of your addict. Im so happy that you have your son where he can now be helped. I too would press charges against this woman. How dare she to put your son and you at the risk she did. So many senarios could have played out but yet it didnt come to that. May you beable to breath a little easier today and do what you need to do to take care of you today.
You have still more prayers that you find some serinity today.

I wouldn't blame you a bit for pressing charges against her. Harboring a run-a-way, especially one that's diabetic, is serious.
May peace come and you be able to rest now.
