I wanted to mention before I forget again, that I have been reading alot..and am currently reading "Addict in the family" by Beverly Conyers. What a great read. I am seeing so much of myself in this book, and it does help understand what goes through the addicts head, as well as ways of the family getting it together, and getting well.

Impurrfect

I gave that book to my dad when I began recovery. Unfortunately, he really doesn't want to understand addiction.

As an addict, I thought the book was very well written and a pretty valid description of life with an addict in your family.
