I cannot begin to imagine your pain. Know that I will hold you deep in my heart for tonight and that you are not alone. Please continue to share your grief...you will help someone, somewhere and not even be aware of it. 22 years, God place his loving hand upon him and you as well.

I am so sorry for your loss. I'm sure this is the worst fear those of us who love an addict can have...Words cannot express the depth of my sympathy and empathy for what you must be going through right now.

I get so angry sometimes that so many are hurt by addiction, but right now I am trying to picture Stephen being held gently in God's hands.

I am so very sorry for your loss. It is so easy in our daily lives to be totally involved in our own problems, and when we read something like this, we can see what truly matters, and our own dilemmas diminish. I can't imagine your pain. Please know your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Your son is at peace now. God, I do so hate this disease.

There can be nothing, NOTHING, more painful than losing a child.
