Talking Guess what?!?

Yesterday made 30 days sober for my sister Granted, 23 of them have been in rehab, but still... no one is forcing her to stay there. If she wasn't serious about continuing her recovery, she could always leave, right? So, as far as I'm concerned, she is still doing a great job!

So I guess today would make a month.

Thank you to anyone who has prayed for her and/ or me... the prayers have definitely been answered!

That is wonderful.....i began my recovery journey in rehab
for 28 days where i picked up the tools and knowledge of
my disease of alcoholism....when i was released i attended
a 6 week outpataint aftercare program and hung on tight...

16 yrs later im still practicing the principles of my program
one day at a time...

In fact i went to a noon meeting and my first 4th of July
sober bbq at our AA club....

It took 16 yrs to finally go and i did even if i didnt eat
bbq....instead a lady friend and i went out for a bite...

YEAH For Recovery...!

YEAH for new miracles that happen daily.
