Back to step one
Back to step one
Ever wonder who's in control?
Up until this past week I really still thought I had some control over things, yeah right.
After AD got out of the hospital last week, she knew that she could not have the car anymore until it was in her name and insurance. My boundary.
OK the day after she needed to go to the mental heath building, and the day after to register for drug and alcohol treatment. Then why tell her not to go to work the next day. There is NO public transportation here. And no way would I take off from work to take her.
So much for the boundary.
But no car going back to school. Sure. Bunch of running around after she got home from work Sunday, we hopped in my car with enough time to get to the bus station 20 miles away. While we were driving I mentioned that it would be a real pain to get there and find the bus gone. I should have kept my big mouth shut.
We got there 8 minutes before departure time and guess what?? Oh yeah it left 10 minutes early. Now what to do, turn around and drive 20 miles back and give her the car to get back to school? or sit there for 2 hours until the next bus left?
Sooooo, when we were driving back to get the car for her to drive back to school, she said that having a car would make it possible for her to go back to NA, and since November she had said she'd never go back.
Now I ask you, who's in charge around here?
I get the feeling it ain't me and it ain't her

Just to make it better, her ex bf who started her on heroin, and has finally gotten anti depressants has decided that they can't see each other anymore. That really got her attention.
Actually not just step one but 2 and 3.
Thanks for all the prayers and support and just for today things are looking up!
I'm glad I'M not in charge
