A special prayer for Mr. Moose this morning...

The light of God surrounds us;
The love of God enfolds us;
The power of God protects us;
The presence of God watches over us.
Wherever we are, God is.
And all is well.

prayer for protection

Hugs and prayers to both of you. I am sure they will get it under control. Irregular heartrate is usually fairly easy to manage once they find the right meds.

Guardian Angel Prayer

Angel of God, my guardian dear,
to whom God's love commits me here;
Watch over me throughout the night,
keep me safe within your sight.

My prayers are with you both, my friend.
Moose, try to rest. I'll be thinkin' of you all day.
With Love,

Big Prayers from Iowa for Mr. Moose, and for you too, Moosie. Iowa prayers are very powerful.

HPs and Doctors are great to have in your corner as well.

Love

Prayers added.
FWIW my ex husband and both his parents had AF as did my XABF (man do I have effect on people or what!?).

It is often difficult to find a source and even with cardio version (shock) it is difficult to maintian the rhythm. However, there are medications that can help control the rhythm and some even can maintain a normal sinus rhythm but have side effects that can be unpleasant.

The good news is that a lot of people have this problem and live with it fine but are on medicatiion (blood thinners etc.).

I have a neighbor with it.. she is pushing 90 and has had it for years... sits on various boards in the village and is vbery active with the seniors group in town.

Again, I am praying for you all!

Adding my prayers to the others.
My Aunt was just released from the hospital for the exact same thing. They were discussing doing the "shock" thing for her too, but never did.
I'm sure he will be just fine, and I know from experience how well SR prayers work!

See, I told ya your prayers work...he's home.
He resumed a normal sinus rhythm with medication...with a "slight" irregularity.....goes to get a persantine stress test this Thursday....
that may reveal more.
They put him on Toprol XL twice a day...

so, we'll see....he's kind of tired...(and crabby...it's a good thing) from lack of sleep....
I'm glad he's home.

Thank you all....
