Talked to him
Talked to him
I spoke with Trevor today. He's coming to school tomorrow, after the kiddies leave. I still have his liscense and SS card. He's going to get them tomorrow.
He's staying with the 40 year old woman who met him while he was in prison. They had the bright idea to smuggle cigarettes in. That's why Trevor lost his parole earlier.
Anyway, he used twice. Then, he squirreled away at her house. He said he didn't even want to use, and didn't know why he did. I told him he was manic the last few times I spoke with him on the phone, and that it was no surprise to me. He needs to be medicated.
Spent all his money, of course. He just got his return; over $500. All gone. And he was drug tested and thrown out of the 1/2 way house as a result. That's just as well. It doesn't seem to be a place for him. They do not have any way to help him get a doctor, get medication....It's just an old religious man, trying to help. Nice, but, hardly effective for dual diagnosed cliental.
So, I'll see him tomorrow. And I'll wish him the best. I've given him my opinion; I've given him all the money I'm going to, (it went to the 1/2 way house.) Any more would just reward him for spending his cash on dope. And he's got clothes. The rest is totally up to him.
He also spoke about going to see his grandmother. I told him I didn't want him going without me there. There's many drugs all over the place. He said he wouldn't take drugs from his grandmother.
I reiterated that I do NOT want him to go there without me. I will call my aunt and sister in the morning. I'm not having my mom upset over him.
It was a strained conversation. I look forward to seeing him tomorrow. But, it's going to be a short visit. I've made plans to see an old friend @ 4:30. I'm seeing him @ 2:30. Just as well.
Just an update.
Shalom!

I know alot of rx compaines that will give out free meds if u qualify. It takes some work and alot of Dr's have a sliding scale since he just got out of jail he should be able to get state assistance and seek out a dr it just takes some time and leg work but in the end its worth it.
Teach, I'm sending you very special hugs because I know that this just gets old after a while and we get tired. I can hear "tired" in your voice and I know you have a lot on your plate already with your mom.
And special prayers for Trevor that he will get the medical help he so badly needs.
Just for today, let's let God look after our sons.
