Update On Dakota 4-1-07

Dakota is doing well at this time ... her surgery went well and she is clear of RSV Upper respitory infection and pneumonia ... the tumor was removed along with her kidney .. she has been diagnosed with stage 3 wilms with favorable histology .. this means she will have radiation once a week for 6 weeks along with her chemo ... then after the 6 weeks she will continue chemo to complete a total of 6 months of chemo all together.

We are home at this time, but as of next week we will be at my mother inlaw's so that Dakota can rest and have things quiet and calm during her chemo and radiation time .. after that we hope to be home as she continues chemo ...

She has a long hard road ahead of her .. Our trust is in the Lord and He has not failed us ... and I have a knowing that he will bring her through this and her life will be a testimony for His glory, honor and praise.

Please continue to lift her up in prayer ... she is so little and has gone through so much already .. with more to come ...

Thanks for the update. She has been in my prayers and will continue. Take one day at a time and maybe it will not seem too overwhelming.

so happy to hear that she is doing well, and i will continue to keep all of you in my prayer with a special prayer for dakota. i stand in agreement with you guys on this one.
