Falling from his tender lips,
Words you desperately want to believe,
I Love you..I Need you..You're all I ever wanted,
Baby please don't ever leave.
You cling to each and every sound as silence fills the room,
Aware that this will never last..over so very soon.
You watch him while he's sleeping afraid that he may wake,
Spoiling something that you treasure,
The angelic look upon his face.
An angel in his eyes but a demon in his soul

An illness he can't control
He doesn't mean the words he's slurring when the demon speaks from within,
His thinking pattern,
A weekend evil,
To understand you can't begin.
Childhood nightmares return to your life,
You cry but no one hears.
Refuse to let it win this time
No more pain
no more tears
The love you feel for him is strong
But weakened in a glance
Once, twice, three strikes you're out
Unable to give another chance
Controlled by this years ago
Put it seems in a trance
Leaving hurts but staying's worse
This will be the final dance.
