Guess what?

This afternoon AH, the kids and I went out to eat. At dinner, ah said, "i'm going to have a beer." I said nothing. He said, "Do you mind?" I said, "you are able to make your own choices, I do not need to give you permission." He said, "well what do you think, do you not think I could only have a few." I say, "That's between you and your problem, I'm not answering these questions." He said, "well I can, only liquor givess me problems."

We left the resturant, I was going to the store. He said, "can you drop me off here while you're at the store." I dropped him off, went to the store, he's still there drinking and I"m at home with the kids.

It doesn't matter, just proves what I always suspected anyway. Guess I'm going to take a shower, watch a movie and just go to sleep. Just wanted to share.

Guess since he hasn't sought help yet, it doesn't matter that he's drinking. Or maybe what he's been through is wearing off and suddenly he no longer has a drinking problem, lol. Funny, I thought he was stopping at one or two and I bet by now, he's had at least 12. I'm not even mad, I'm indifferent. I'm not even disappointed. I'm NOTHING.

(((Sunshine))) Good job. Maybe this will be what helps him get to where he needs to go. By you staying out of it completely, it left it all in HIS lap where it belongs.

Thank you for posting this. It was very important for me to see, and you made that possible. Sending you a hug.
