Al-Anon Meetings
Does anyone know where I could get a link to some information concerning Al-Anon meetings here in Georgia?
I am also interested in open AA Meetings?
Any help would be appreciated.

hi, Sealy,
I'm not that good at the computer but I'm sure someone will be along with all the info, I think there are a couple of ladies here from Georgia.
I found meetings in the local newspaper and then at the meeting they have a more comprehensive list of local meetings and times.
good luck,

Hey Sealy,
It's your GA buddy, here...
Call 1-888-4AL-ANON. It's automated at first, I think, but then they will ask you what state, what town in which you're looking for a meeting. If they don't volunteer a name, ask them for the name of the contact person for that particular town. They gave me two names & numbers of people locally I could call to make sure I had the right times.
My experience was that the days & times given by the people at the 1-888 # weren't always correct, so I'd call the local person and verify the dates and times so you won't go and possibly not find anyone there. I know the 1-888 folks told me the meeting in my town was at 8:00. When I called the local contact woman, she told me the meetings were at 7:00. Guess that explains why no one was there the two times I did ride by, TRYING to get the courage to go!!!!
So pick up that phone and call. Oh, and I asked about surrounding towns, too. I wanted plenty of options as I felt I needed all the help I could get, AND I STILL DO!!!!!!!!!!
Now go call!
