Today I am thankful...

For having the cutest barn kitties to play with...

For having a dog that is soooo happy to see me when I get home that she does the full body wiggle when she sees me pull in...

For seeing the most beautiful sunrise this morning...

For seeing a majestic, beautiful twelve point buck in the middle of the road this morning and watching him jump a fence instead of becoming a part of my bumper!

What are you thankful for today?

my re-acquaintence and relationship with God - without becoming involved in recovery i don't know that i would have seeked that out again.

a toilet that doesn't "run" anymore - i finally replaced the flapper after a month (duh)!

my senses - to be able to smell the fresh, fall air and see the lovely colors as I drive to and from work.

The ability to see the beautiful fall colors on the trees and feel the sunshine

My two little dogs who make me smile everyday

And that yesterday, I spent a nice day with my bf who's in recovery and for the day - I just stayed in the moment.

I thank God today for my healthy children. I thank him for my husband who even though I get mad at him, he went to church last night. The fact that he helps the kids study the Bible. I am also trying to appreciate things more and have more of an awareness of God in my life.

Today I am grateful that I am healthy and I have two healthy kids. I am grateful that my HP has given me the ability to take good care of my kids.

I am grateful for God's Grace and Mercy

To be sober 11 years and keepin' it real

For two gorgeous, healthy, grown children and my whole family including SO many close friends.

That my "Myrtle Mom" doesn't have any pain with her cancer and is positive in faith about her future.

For a great job.

For no more cancer for me

For my xabf, who's been sober 70 days, has accepted the Lord and has been baptized and is (from what I can see and hear) consistently showing instead of talking the talk. He's letting the anger go in therapy and looks forward to a life of sobriety on a farm for another year! And that we're friends.

Thankful for survivors who have been through the storm and have come out the other side much stronger.

From trying to learn from my mistakes.

For loving who I am.

For my little furbabies!!

For SR board and it's people.

*Thanks, Paula a. for a good thread*

I am grateful that my son seems to be doing well at the present time. And is still sober.
I am grateful that I was able to find 6 new things to notice and admire while walking amongst the falling leaves. (a daily ritual finding 6 things in my surroundings)
I am grateful for the awesome friends I've made here at SR.
Most of all, I am grateful that I am living and breathing.
