Susane, I can't do RP to save my life! I started off with a Hull accent, then Cumbrian, then a very strong Dublin one. Also lived in Manchester and Suffolk, but now back to Yorkshire. Twang? I'll say so.

And my Mum still tells me off about not pronouncing my T's.

When I was in england they would ask me to talk so they could hear my accent!!! HA, I told them I dont have one.

Im more the Italian, French, Spanish .... knees weak ..... girl myself. Got to love them!!!

Someone from Canada once told me I had a 'cute California accent' and I'm still trying to figure that one out. Wickipedia has several really interesting articles on 'everything you never wanted to know' about US accents. I didn't realize there were so many.

P is a 'dyed in the wool' Yorkshireman, I'm a Lincolnshire Yellowbelly through and through. P speaks 'proper' English but can easily slip into Yorkshire speak.
One Yellowbelly word that drives him up the wall is "duck"
