Getting Back Into Healthy Relationships, Richard Grannon

I appreciate healing from CPTSD. I appreciate part of my recovery is facing directly what I've been through. Awareness is good.

"Are you doing the emotional literacy work?"

"Are you working on stopping your emotional flashbacks?"

Yes, and yes.

Daily recovery practices.

Meditation this morning:

Confidence

late Middle English: from Latin confidentia, from confidere ‘have full trust’

I often sit with one or more lists of emotions. I have a list of many amazing positive emotions, an ultimate emotions list and a couple others I've found online.

As I allow stillness, awareness and instinct to develop, it becomes easy to correctly identify the emotion or a small group of emotions I'm feeling. This self awareness is transformation.

My first Al-Anon sponsor encouraged sitting with individual words, allowing playfulness, openness and learning. To look up definitions. To see what resonates in a given moment. I greatly appreciate these daily routines.
