Amends come waaaaaaay down the line after there's a firm foundation of Steps 1 through 7, done with a sponsor and in community with others. The Steps aren't meant to be worked quickly or alone. Step 4, in and of itself, can take a very long time to assimilate. I'm wondering why you've jumped into Step 8?
