After 3 weeks I finally finished the financial forms for the divorce- and put them in the mail certified. I am celebrating at a national chain that sells donuts and coffee!!! I realized I forgot to add in my retirement savings to my expense report but I did put that in under "deductions" from my paycheck page- it goes into a 403B - anyway I will mention that to my attorney. I did the best I could and got all the documentation and sent it along. The next step is STBXAH has to do the thing- and my lawyer is planning on trying to do some bargaining outside of court so we can keep the costs down. only a little over a month to go before the actual divorce- then I don't know how long the financial settlement will take. I talked with one person who told me it took over 2.5 years. Well I did all I could do today.
