off topic but...

I got a job offer last week, and I put my 2 weeks in at my current job.

Its a little more money, and I think it has a lot more potential. But I'm having anxiety about changing. I don't like change...I chalk some of that up to the situation I was in growing up. And I know all change isn't bad, but I'm scared I won't do well. The job I have now is fine, but there isn't any potential to grow, I think I've hit the cap here.

Most of you have known that my goals were to leave exabf, buy a house, and find a better job. And its all here. But I'm so SCARED.

Has anyone else been through this?

Congrats to you Blossom! That is great news!

Change is definitely hard. We like to stay in our comfort zones. However, change is usually a good thing. You deserve this!

Good luck to you, keep us posted!!!!

well In the midst of excitement I hadn't asked what the health benefits are at the new place. (turns out they DON'T offer insurance!)

My current boss asked me what I wanted to stay, I told him my terms and he accepted them.

So....I guess it still works out. Thank you for the encouragement! I am still having confidence issues, trusting my instincts.

Can relate to feeling scared, but it's totally normal to feel that way. As you push through these scary situations they become less scary.

Each time you navigate a change through unfamiliar waters, your confidence will grow.

Thanks for sharing your exciting news!!

Thank you! I was actually a mess, but they know me. And it is working out for the best I think.

PS, I am still working on the house, I will post pictures soon!
