Hi everyone. I've started buying only alcohol-free medicines recently (my AS is on Antabuse) and I figured NyQuil without alcohol wasn't going to Be very effective. Three of us in the house have colds and just want to sleep for the night. I was amazed that it worked BETTER than the alcohol one. There wasn't any coughing, nose-blowing, and everyone slept through till morning. I hope its ok to post this since it's an OTC cold remedy.

I've also found alcohol free mouthwash to be better! Same freshness without the sting!

When my AH was on Antabuse, the alcohol free Burts Bees products (I'm sure there are others) was a great alternative. He was having reactions just from skin care products that had alcohol in them.

Thank you for sharing wrt the Nyquil. I am sick right now and will be picking up some on the way home- no reason for temptation for anyone that way.
