The program really does work

For those of you who may be struggling with working the steps, etc...do not give up. Work them at your own pace. Although I had been in al anon previously, until I really grasped the program and reached out to my HP (God), I was still just floundering around. I still have a lot of work to do on myself but I now realize that change is possible. Do not be discouraged. The members on this board are a great help. Sometimes brutal honesty is what we all have to hear and then accept it.

You are not alone. Hang in there and just keep swimming!! One day at a time!

thanks cazzap06! you express feelings that I, too, have...and am trying to work through...to work through the emotions now instead of stuffing and letting them all build up...it is overwhelming so when you post what is real and true for you...you give me courage.
