OT: Putting my notice in tomorrow
I am putting in my resignation for my current job tomorrow. I am SO EXCITED. I am a nurse, have been at the same job for a year and a half in a private psych hospital. Safety and general morale have gone severely downhill over the last 6 months or so. So bad that if the state came in tomorrow, I wouldn't be surprised if there were major fines/shut down. People are quitting in droves.
I was interviewed for and offered a job in the psych unit at the community hospital in my home town......just across the street from the elementary school I went to. It is closer, the money is way better, and if I needed to get away from RAH for a while, my childhood home is uninhabited (parents still own it, live in another part of town) and it is probably 3 miles from my new job. I passed my physical today and start Nov 10. I can't wait!!!
