Hi SR friends- So I need some help

I am debating on what to do with the marriage license. It is set up nice and engraved with date and last name and I don't want to just throw it away. I was debating on asking AH if he wants it. He still hasn't signed the papers and is not wanting to. I already went to the court and had my name legally changed back.
yea me!!

I thought of just putting it away since it has been but I want it out of my house.

What has others done with there license?

thank you for the response. I really want it out of the house. I don't want anything that can trigger any reminders of him. I was going through my files and yup it did.

It suxs this month is our anniversary but it will not be a happy one.

You won't always be so triggered.

If you need it gone, just throw it away. You may need it one day but you can always get a copy at the court house.

It is the symbolism around that document that is giving you the trouble. You write of wanting it gone, yet cared for. I get that but remember, the thing in your hand is just a piece of paper.

I filed it away in an envelope in my filing cabinet. My sister left her rings with our mother. Probably don't offer it to STBX, it could trigger lots of stuff you don't need.
