Im so sorry for what you are going through. I am in Nursing School and doing my clinical rotation on a Traumatic Brain Injury unit. One of the patients I was assigned to has Hepatic encephalopathy. He was found unresponsive by his wife at home and rushed to the ER. He suffered a stroke. I love Nursing School and I enjoy caring for people (of course i do, i wouldn't be a member of these forums!). Its the patients that are suffering due to there choice to drink that really trigger something in me. I wanted to give his wife a hug and tell her how I understood but I couldn't. Hugs!
