Who stays separated for SIX years?? I'll tell you why HE does it...it's so he'll have her there when whomever he is currently with either kicks his azz to the curb, or he gets tired of the relationship. There's no telling why his wife puts up with it, but it's obvious that she does. The whole thing is just insane.
Maybe you can't see the insanity because you're too close. You left him once, so you know you can do it. You just have to convince yourself that this guy is not the one for you. I'm not sure he's the one for anyone, but YOU certainly deserve better.
