Debbie,

I am going to join the other's in saying, YES, you did the right thing. He needs to experience and except the responsibility of his actions. If you had run down to pick him up you would just be enabling and condoning his behavior. A behavior that has made you very crazy/angry all night, not to mention probably many other nights as well.

I know this is a hard and emotionally traumatic thing to go through, especially when you love the person. But love alone can't guarentee happiness. You must think about yourself and your future. An ask yourself just how many times/tries are you willing to give this person who's contribution to your life is heart break and sleepless nights. You do deserve peace. Hang on to your friends and family.

Your in my prayers as you try to decide what's next for you.

BarbieDeb:
I don't know how you can stand the pain. It makes me remember when I used to hurt my loved ones. Now, I only annoy them
It sounds as if your life is surrounded by addicts.
Why is your life so full of addicted people?
About your A, my mother once told me "stay away from bad company". Since he is in a real fix I wonder if his friends are helping him if he continues to act up after being around them?
From what I have read on this post, YOU are the innocent being put in turmoil.
I pray your pain will decrease, and that your A will get his senses back.

Qutter,

You find the pictures on the web and then get the address for the pictures and then put them here.

We have a lot of fun with them. Debbie is the best photo hound, but I can see that Ann is going to give her a run for the money.

Deb, you didn't run to the rescue! Just
think what your night would have been
like, or if the policeman had brought
him home, it all worked out.
Take care,

Hugs,

Good Morning Everyone,

Thanks for all your encouraging words, thoughts, prayers and cookies

I got some sleep, not much but it should be enough to function at work today. I don't think I will be very productive today. I plan on thinking about what I need to do for me. I think I became too focused on him again and his recovery that I almost forgot about me. Maybe this was my wake up call, who knows.

Again, I just wanted to thank everyone for being there for me when I felt the insanity over coming me yet again. You all help me so much.

Everyone have a great day!!

Many hugs.
Love,
Debbie

PS Ann, you are getting too good with those pictures!! It's fun isn't it? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
