Packed some of her belongings

Well I decided I would not be a-hole and loaded some of ex's belongings that she was awarded in court. Not sure how I feel, maybe I did it to try and get some closure. I am really missing my ex of 10 years ago.

Sometimes it's the simplest solution. Hopefully tying up this loose end will help you move on.

I felt a definite sadness when I packed up my XAW's stuff. Felt sorry that it had come to this and missed the woman I met and married so many years ago. I was saddened that she no longer existed and that someone else had taken her place. There came a point when I had been out of the chaos for a while when I could remember who she was & how happy we were instead of dealing with the day to day crap of living with an active alcoholic.

It did give me some closure to pack up her stuff but it kind of unnerved for a few days. But it was definitely easier seeing boxes & bags than piles of her stuff. I still haven't done anything with the room where her belongings were, guess I awaiting inspiration! Hang in there, it gets better!

electricalguru, I understand that feeling! Looking at the artifacts triggers old memories and nostalgia. It is good that you are carrying it out, though. this is a step in the healing.

Now, go and do something fun.
