I did make it to my first alanon meeting yestetday! Thanks everyone for all the support. I just listened this time, but i'm going to continue to go. Everyone there was very nice. I had no problems getting there, and he didn't question me. So, it was a really good day for me!

Good for you, Dragonfly! It's one thing to be told that everyone at the meeting has been in your shoes and understands w/o your saying a word--it's another to actually experience it, isn't it?

Glad you found a meeting where you feel comfortable right off the bat. Sometimes it takes a couple tries at different ones.

Again, so happy you went and that you found some help there!

Congrats Dragonfly!!! I have been to 4 with in a week and I am so glad I decided to step out of my comfort zone because each day becomes clearer :-)
