Great text message
Lately we have been overwhelmed with tough stuff at PINK Acres ~ not really heartbreaking stuff but just slowly beat down lessons and things that require daily applying all the tools of the program to make it thru the challenges
And we are making it ~ as we know ~ with recovery & a wonderful HP ~ we always do ~
And last night I received a text message that gave me a boost of much needed encouragement and I wanted to share it with my SR peeps ~
My daughter, Ash, texted me a pic of her 1 year Sobriety Chip!
Very simple, humble and truly focused on her own program ~
It brought tears to my eyes. I am so honored that she shared that with me ~ most of you know this is not the first time she has been in recovery or even made a year ~ but prayerfully she is doing it differently this time and she will continue her path.
So regardless of what the future may hold ~ today I celebrate the good news and the blessings of recovery in one of my loved ones lives! AND the wonderful ability to be a part of that due to the God of my understanding helping me work my own program and minding my own business ~
Thank you for all the love, support and listening ears for all the years I continue to be a part of this wonderful SR family ~
