It's always easier to see the big picture in the other guy. When we're stuck up to our eyeballs in our own stuff it's impossible.
My husband's addiction was the catalyst for me to finally look at myself and start to grow. Get more independent. Have a fuller life. Quit fixing friends and family. It was the beginning of my emotional freedom.
