OT - Hi all...it's been a while
Hi there SR folks,
I've been away for quite some time now, but it seems life brings me back here, where I know there are always supportive, funny and remarkably wise people. I'd been living life, enjoying a wonderful and loving relationship with an old friend, who, despite all his other lovely qualities, turned out to be a on a different path than my own, and wouldn't have been happy being a family man. So I ended it, rather recently in fact, in order to protect my little girl from the negative effects an eventual break-up would have on her. At this point in time, she is only 3 and she won't remember the disappearance of his individual from her life. Later on though, it would be more difficult for her, and I would rather protect her from the consequences of my mistakes as long as I can.
And so, all this brings me back here, where I consider my initial "growth" took place and eventually "took off".
I'm glad to see some of the "old timers" here, as well as a bunch of new people.

This is such a special place. I've spent a lot of time here today, just listening in on conversations and seeping up the ES&H of everyone. There are days like that, when I don't have much to say but relish the love and care here.
And it's good to see you back. (I remember you even if you don't remember me!
) You sound good.
It is good to know that you are doing well.
