I'm stealing ladyscribbler's "laughter" because, yes, there's nothing more fun than laughing. I'm lucky in that my kids and my BIL and (yes) my AH are very, very funny people. We have spent a lot of time over the years laughing. Frankly, laughter may have kept my marriage going as long as it has.
OK, and I'm also stealing Onawa's "knowing I am loved." Good one!
- Practicing gratitude
- Taking an afternoon "siesta"--I work from home so in the summer, I work until 3pm and then go out in the back yard and sit in the lounger and fall asleep reading a book.
- Ensuring my financial independence
- Connecting with family
- Daily meditation + yoga
- Walking away/refusing to get sucked in
- Taking the dog for a walk
- Working in my vegetable garden
- Cooking a meal with the vegetables from above garden
