Introducing my friend --- PregnantW
I am with my friend PregnantW. She wanted to share her story.
She, like me, came to this city from our hometown Mexico city.
At the moment she is 5 months pregnant.
Unfortunately she is going through a divorce process which has been a really hard time for her being without her circle of friends and family.
We are together trying to sort out our living situations. We cried.
She is the one who recommended my current therapist and is going twice.
Words of encouragement and wisdom, good vibes, are welcome.

I will keep you both in my prayers. When it gets overwhelming, I always think of something I am grateful for, or I take a moment to look out the window at one of nature's marvels. The challenges we face do not define us, rather it is how we chose to respond that does.

But you are NOT without friends and family, TC your friend standing beside you, and your family GROWING inside you. That is the most incredible blessing.
Thank you very much for your kind words.
I will bring pizza to her home tonight, and stay over.
We plan manicure, pedicure, and movies.
On SAT morning we will walk her dogs on a park.
I will print this thread and take it to her today.
She does not speak English so well but I will translate your kind words if needed. We tried to find a similar forum in Spanish but were not lucky.
She also opened a gift table in a huge store, I am going there on Saturday afternoon.
I will try to find something useful and beautiful for future baby girl.
It will be wonderful to meet her- she will be in this world in 3 months only!
Again, thank you!

My friend says hi to all of you - I saw her in the group therapy yesterday- and thanks you for your good vibes!!
She made many of us cry. She explained how her ex husband left and how she felt without any support at all, but gained strength after she felt her baby kick for the next time - she felt she was no longer alone. She also mentioned she has increased her faith in God and she was grateful to be healthy, that her baby was healthy, she was very happy and was no longer thinking about leaving anywhere, and thankful to be with us and able to share experiences... this woman was shining, I realized she is so very strong - she is 7 months now, and I can't wait to meet the baby girl. The baby shower is in 2 weeks, and my mom hand painted some baby towels for her....
She also has a good friend in US that invited her to study a specialization in Florida and can help arranging the visa requirements.. so now she has to learn English real fast and is excited about it.
I have seen how HP has sent her everything she has needed, and more, when she was left with nothing. Its truly wonderful.
