I'm rubber and you're glue....
...and whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you!
Keeping this one in mind today; talked to my mom, and of course AS came up in the conversation. I'm getting ready to move, and mom offered help. She also said, "AS said, 'I would offer to help but I'm sure FarawayFromCars hates me and doesn't want my help'...". I felt myself bristle but remained calm and told my mom, "well, that's AS' perception, and that's something she needs to change." End of conversation!
Sticking up for myself...calling it out like it is....getting a little bit easier!

YES. It will require me to a.) not pick up the phone and b.) require that we do not discuss AS. That one is tougher...it will take consistency, but I'm willing to do that.
