Home from surgery

and doing so much better than expected! When I first came too I was in tears from the pain but they gave me some good drugs and I feel really good for many hours now so hoping I am on the right path.

My HP truly pulled me through this. Guess I really do not need me stbxah for anything. I am so much more relaxed and have my mom here who smiles at me instead of him giving me dirty looks. What a different world I live him since I left him. And grateful he left me too..

Thanks to all for your good wishes and being here for me.

Hugs
Lulu

I woke from my general anaesthetic, to the smiling face of my grand-daughter who works in theatre. I agree with you, about how different it would have been if your ex had his miserable face and dirty looks, to greet your awakening. Then again, do you really think he would have bothered being there?

Hope it continues to get better every day and lasts a looooong time.

I am hobbling on a pair of crutches, and what a damned gangly world it is for me right now, as I weave and wiggle my way about. Don't know which is worse...the foot or the darn opposite knee and it's arthritis....hope it eases as foot heals and I walk better.

Anyway, all the best Lu for your healing.

God bless

Lulu - surgeries can bring out many emotions. Glad to know that you are recovering well, but best of all staying positive and strong. You need some flowers next to you to smell!!!!! It's a world of difference after you get the stuff/packing out of your nose. You'll be able smell and keep taking a deep breath.

Oh Jadmack..My prayers are with you for some relief and a speedy recovery.
My stbxah was never sympathetic nor compassionate towards me. I was sick a lot with him, my back, I was nervous, itchy skin, stomache issues, insomnia, anxiety, eye twitch. Almost all of them disappeared the minute he left. I still have insomnia but I think after the divorce it will get better too.

I used to jump when he called on the phone as I knew he was calling out of duty and not compassion. I guess I should be thankful we were married for only 3 years. I still have a shot at making my dreams come true. His future is in the gutter. he will keep getting worst. I keep getting better. It can be a great life...

Praying for your speedy recovery...

Hugs
