We should talk about what we're doing to declutter. I'm filing final divorce papers this week, for one. I've done a lot of cleaning too. Need to get rid of a lot of the 3yo's clothes. I have a lot of office decluttering to do. And my taxes.

To declutter, I'm doing my taxes tomorrow, plan to finish up all of the tasks I promised I'd do for other people, getting rid of old stuff, and getting rid of bad habits. This is going to be sooooo fun!

OK, now I understand. Don't start cutting anything out of mags yet. I can hold on to the ones I haven't read yet ... for me, months can go by as they sit in a pile. In the meantime, I'll start on the back basement, clothes, and we'll see what comes out of the counsellor on the marriage front.

Ok... to declutter I will clean out my closet (and give away all those clothes that I haven't worn in years), and stop isolating myself (I want to be done with that - I want to go out more/ make friends/ not hide in my bedroom anymore)....

Just looked in wardrobes, larder and cupboard and OH, HECK......Vinnies Boutique is going to get a car load from me in declutter goodies.

Don't get mags myself, but am scrounging from daughter who had hundreds stacked in garage......this could be a real fun thing, as well as having big benefits.

OK, here's a long explanation of the Aries New Moon...

And here is a more detailed explanation of Treasure Mapping...

Essentially, you get a poster board (or if you have a better idea, do that! It's all about your ideas!) and divide the sections into the 9 bagua. I haven't checked out those links you all posted, but you can easily Google "feng shui bagua" to figure it out. Then, open you magazines and start cutting out stuff that inspires you and compile it into a collage. You can get as creative as you want. You can print off images from online, use phrases that really speak to you, whatever you want, whatever inspires you. One tip I'd give is to try to focus what you want in the coming year (as opposed to longer term) in each of the areas. I have done TMs where I focused too long term, and it really didn't give me much to focus on that year.

Oh, and you've got about 4 days of New Moon energy, so you don't have to finish it tonight. I'm not even starting tonight, as I've got a sick kid and lots of work drama going on. :/
