Thank you, Ago (and others), for understanding. There is a dual meeting on Saturday nights in my area, AA and Al-Anon. I was wondering what you might think about that and if it would be more helpful than just one or the other?
I see the changes in my daughter since we left AH. She has progressed by leaps and bounds and is becoming amazing. There's no reason why, with time, I couldn't do the same thing.

Do 90 in 90 in any combination of AA and Al-anon you want, but do 90 in 90
90 in 90
it's free
90 meetings in 90 days
I'd say lean towards AA to get some distance from alcohol, I don't think you will make any permanent or effective change without removing drugs and alcohol from the equation, but that is purely opinion and quite a bit of experience, but I am decidedly biased about what to address first.
Left to your own devices this is what your life will look like.
I am sorry that what I wrote hurt your feelings....kind of...but not really
I am desperately trying to get your attention so you will make the correct decision to save your life. It's literally life and death. Both yours and your children. Your life to me is more important then your feelings, I think it's important someone tell you the truth, I am sorry it came across as so harsh though.
I understand how you feel, and I repeat, you never have to feel this way again.
