i4, once you start making a list of things you have to do and start doing them you might feel better. I always do. My art teacher talks about how he has to do the dishes every night and it seems like such a big task - but he just tackles them "one dish at a time." That has kind of become my mantra - "one dish at at time." Sort of a take off on that very familiar "one day at a time" that we all know and love! R.

i4, I understand what you are going through right now. I supported the ex, myself and my daughter through 4 months of continuous unemployment and erractic working patterns in the 2 years I lived with the ex.

I remember having sleepless nights and avoiding the door, not answering the phone etc.

Take strength in the knowledge that you will get through this! Economise, talk to your creditors etc, most are understanding and will try to accomadate you.

As said already, get state help! There is nothing to be ashamed of by applying. In the UK, as probably in the US, we pay tax toward the 'social fund' as we earn. The benefits we have are supposed to be there to help out when times are tough. It is a shame many who don't work and have never paid tax abuse this wonderful system we have.

I found out last night that how AH lost his job is not the truth. Apparently he said something inappropriate during a business trip two weeks ago (while drunk of course). Looks like his alcoholism has finally started to creep over into his work. Of course he told me it had to do with some guy not liking him. I can't wait to drop the bomb on him that I KNOW the real reason.

Oh well...still moving forward and getting my house in order. Thank you again for all of the prayers.
