wensite technical question - the "Remove your thanks" button

I understand what it does. But what is the purpose of having it? Its almost like trying to remove a compliment you gave someone, and want to take it back. Just wondering.

(I finished a weeklong computer class today, and aced the final. Got the certificate and accolades from the instructor on my presentation, too, so I'm feelin' pretty good about myself tonight. But am being computer critical now with this question!)

I hadn't noticed that before. And it does work. What an odd concept.

I wondered about this too, toll. I think you are further along in your co-dep recovery than I am because I was afraid to ask:Flush: ....congrats on successful completion of your course!

No, Im not moving ahead in my recovery based on todays events. All the time I was in class, me and my XAGF were exchanging emails. Unreal. I just suffered my second relapse since starting Alanon. I almost want to start a thread about it, but dont have any emotions yet to express about it. Just numb about it.

Congrats on doing so well with the class!

I've gottent the impression that the feeling of numbness is fairly common. Be patient with yourself. You are only human you know.

I've accidentally "thanked" myself in the past when I was trying to respond to a post.....maybe there are a few others who aren't so shift sometimes like me!

The programmers are always up to something. They also stick in new smileys all the time. There's a sneaky one that has hijacked my avatar. That goofy looking broccolli with the biker helment and T-shirt? That's not me, that's the sneaky programmer who stuck it in there as a way to tease me.

So you never know what kinda cutesy-ness is going to pop up 'round here

* lol * yeah, he is cute. I get a lot of PM's from new people about him. For awhile I was given one that was wrapped in a trench-coat, and he would flash open the trench-coat and you'd see that he's a broccolli.
