Still Dry
Just thought I would let everyone know that so far, he still has not had a drop and the 30 day mark is June 3rd. He seems to be handling it very well and has been great to hang around with. I probably have put myself in a false sense of security mode, letting all my guards down since he has done so well. We have even talked about how alcohol has affected him and others in our families that are alcoholics. He has been the person that I fell in love with many years ago! I sure hope that he decides that he go it another 30!!
We are planning on a Harley ride with some friends on Sunday, spend the night in the mountains and the come home Monday. Sure hope the weather holds!!!!
Y'all have a great weekend and holiday!
Constant
I can't believe that I actually am excited about a holiday instead of dreading it!!!

Oh my gosh, what a great ride we had this weekend! We ate oysters and had O'duls (that was a new one), went out for steaks, shopped then tried to sleep BUT someone in the room over ours must have been turning tricks or filming a porn movie because they kept us up all NIGHT!!!!
We headed out eary Memorial Day and rode over the Mountain while there was still morning mist in the air. It was great. Had lunch back in Helen and then headed homeward. The weather couldn't have been better.
I just know all this has to come to an end sometime, but I am soaking up every minute I can while he is sober!! I hate to keep going on and on about it, but it REALLY has been WONDERFUL!
I am trying to stay level headed and still am working on myself, not slipping into old patterns. I can honestly say these few weeks have been the best functioning weeks of our marriage. I only pray that it will continue!
